5 hidden essentials that helped my pregnancy journey!

Ok so this one is for the pending mummies to be. Pregnancy can be challenging, for me it was definitely harder than being a new mum. There are loads of tips and tricks out there to help during pregnancy, however here I am recommending the ones that I almost forgot, and managed to come across by chance.

  1. Prenatal vitamins: it can be difficult to get all your nutrition from diet alone and you might develop some food aversions and morning sickness. This trusted brand will top you up on all the good stuff for some extra goodness and energy! Be sure to buy a few packs as you have to take them everyday!
  1. Sketchers: No one tells you how swollen and painful your feet get towards the end! These were a life saver! So comfortable, stretchy and best of all no bending down to do up laces!
  1. Maternity Bra: Another body part I didn’t know was going to change so quickly! This multipack came in a few different colours, was seamless, wireless and comfortable enough to sleep in. I continued to use them after as a nursing bra for easy access whilst breastfeeding.
  1. Moisturizer: ok this seems obvious but we don’t just mean for your face! Your skin will be stretching which can make it dry and itchy, not to mention the dreaded stretch marks! I used this religiously everyday and had amazing results! No harmful additives, lovely fragrance and really helped with the itching.
  1. Pregnancy Pillow: I was getting more and more uncomfortable as my bump grew and knew it was recommended to sleep on my side. This award winning ergonomic pillow offered firm body support and adapted with me as my body changed. It can also double up as a nursing pillow for extra support when breastfeeding so definitely a good investment!
